Well, I must say I am very glad I did not buy the first iteration of Apple 13-inch aluminum MacBook last year b / c have really been the second time to upgrade to a MacBook Pro! Its nice to have the “pro” stamp on a 13 “now! Apple has listened to their customers to add almost everything we asked and more and has reduced the price! Thanks Apple!

PROS

- Finally, a price reduction with a performance upgrade! I knew that Apple could make. I was tired of paying for aesthetics and not performance.
- New Snow Leopard operating system comes pre-installed! same ease of use with performance much faster!
- LCD much better! in line with the Pro models … always brilliant and some shine, but much nicer!
- Keyboard backlit on all 13 “models now (I really like what can be controlled from bottom to top)
- Battery life is much better than last year. (I get about six hours without regular use of 7:00, which was reported)
- The computer is really an eye-catcher beautifully designed.
- 09 ILife Suite is ideal for photos, movies and music. Not very good software to sell hardware.
- SD card slot accepts SDHC, which goes up to 32 GB and works like a charm. (Can start from an SD card as well)

CONS

- Aluminium housing that tooth easily if dropped. (Buy a carrying case!)
- Power supply is short and does not reach many places that I like … should be very close to a wall outlet.
- The battery can be easily removed
- SD card sticks halfway out of the slot. eyestrain.
- Optional Blu-ray would have been nice, but understandable given the license. (Many Bluray provide digital copies using)

Taking into account all the major improvements over last year with a good price I can really recommend this Macbook Pro almost perfect!
