Compare HTC HD2 Windows Phone (T-Mobile) With Another Phone ?
I’ve been waiting for this phone for a long time. I watched the whole market and the main reason to wait because it was the snapdragon processor (1 GHz), coupled with the large screen resolution (480×800) and the operating system.
I am a long time user of smartphones and you could say I was a heavy user. I usually have several mail accounts, use GPS for driving or just for the opportunity to travel during walks during the regular roaming Wi-Fi and 3G Skype for international calls / Wifi. Plus watch videos, listen to Internet radio and pod and use it as a media player a life.

All the sites offer the technical, so I will go into the pros and cons of the phone and my experience with them.
Strengths:
- Broadband capacitive touchscreen. Very responsive. 480×800 resolution color video and clear
- Supplied film processor + (1 and 2) do an excellent job showing off the screen and processing power. It’s just the HD video, without delay or blur-Ness. Very impressive
- Comes with 16 GB of movies just so you have enough space for other media.
- Play live audio and video perfectly in 3G
- HTC Sense + is great and does a great job of hiding what Microsoft screens you rarely get. All applications such as email, messaging, etc is much better with the meaning.
- Comes with a big screen animated weather
- Very thin but a bit on the heavier side
- 5.0MP camera comes with flash, which is for close-up photos.
- Cost + PC via USP and thus has an option to connect a hard drive, which is much better and faster compared to the civil Media Sync
- LIFE + good battery lasts a day and a half in normal use 3G video and watch
- Can be used as a WiFi router / access point.
- Comes with FM + more if you kill him if an antenna
- Swype + app (included) to replace keyboard rocks .. much faster to type with.
Disadvantages:
- On the big screen is a plus, but you can not keep in your pocket because it could boost the screen or device
- Even a 5.0 MP camera, some photos have a tendency to be grainy due to poor light
- Skype has withdrawn its support for WinMo 6.5, but older versions of applications can be found on the Internet
- Is not this the “Wireless Router” app that actually turns your phone into a WiFi access point .. So many people you can connect to your phone via WiFi and the phone offers internet access via 3G.
- Microsoft says it will not be Windows Mobile 7 about this device would be a bummer because you could see new Windows Mobile 7 devices in the coming months. I’m sure you can visit the site XDA-developer and get a WM7 ROM.
Other Notes:
- T-Mobile version of this phone 3G TMobile and you will not use it with AT & T or any other network, however, in Europe as TMO uses 1700 as one of the groups is not used anywhere elsewhere. On the other hand, the European version of 3G phone to the AT & T, and vice versa, but they will not be compatible with 3G TMO.
- The above applies only to 3G, while GPRS and EDGE quad-band, which will work anywhere in the world.
I use this for a few days now and I am very impressed by it. Found no dealbreaker issue so far but will keep you informed.
