Dell has its Inspiron R line of consumer value notebooks with new cover designs and the latest Intel processors has been updated. The updated Inspiron R series is with 14 “, 15.6″ and 17.3 “screens available.” A key feature of the new notebooks is the interchangeable cover options; 25 of unique designs and colors are available. Lids are $39.99.

Technical characteristics of Inspiron updated R include Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 processor of second generation options, up to 8 GB RAM, 6 or 9 cell battery options and HD-enabled webcams. 3D Blu-ray playback via HDMI 1.4 is available, if equipped with the optional Blu-ray drive. The R series has Intel wireless display technology, which allows wireless streaming 1080p HD video.
