The LG Rumor Touch is one of the best phones I’ve ever had. The touchscreen is responsive and the battery life is good (it took me almost a week without charge, and I text a lot). It loads fast enough and the discussions you text messages into conversations (which is probably my favorite thing about. I hate having to switch between my inbox and sending a conversation). The camera quality is good, But there are things you should know about this phone before buying it.

Firstly, this phone does not support instant messaging, despite what many claim websites. Not even AIM or Yahoo. It is simply not an option. I bought this phone was impressed, and I was very disappointed by this, so beware if it is a major selling point for you.

Security is also a bit of a problem with this phone. Push the “Lock / Power” button on the side of the phone allows the display to lock. This can be accessed by everyone in the scroll bar to the right of the screen. Worse still, even with this step circumvented by simply sliding full QWERTY keyboard. The only way to really lock the phone to go into your setup menu, your access code, and close the phone. You must repeat this process every time you finish the phone, otherwise it will return to “scroll” locking method, which (as noted above) are not truly love someone is using your standard telephone.

Some people also disagree with the method of hanging up the phone because it uses a “End Call” on the touchscreen instead of a physical button on the bottom of the phone. Some do not like the method of images and menu navigation, a sort of “click and drag” method using the touch screen. Others complain about the lack of personalization of the phone’s main screen is home button and nothing else. No shortcuts or icons of any kind. None of this was a problem for me, but these are things that some people would like to know before buying the phone.

Overall, this is an excellent messaging phone (and I do not think I could come back for touch screens after it is). Some sites advertising opportunities false, but others that I highly recommend this phone.
