The Panasonic GH2 builds on the already solid foundation of the GH1 and G2. Produces excellent image quality from an exceptionally small camera body. The Lumix GH2 is the seventh – seventh – G-series micro four thirds camera from Panasonic. 2010 Introduced at Photokina, it replaced the GH1 and it has some step-up benefits for the Lumix G2.

The GH2 offers a leap in sensor resolution over previous Lumix micro four thirds models with 16.02 megapixels, the GH1 and G2′s 12.1 mega pixels. Of course, the sensor remained the same size. During it any compact point-and-shoot’s sensor dwarfs the GH2 of four thirds sensor is slightly smaller than the Sony NEX and Samsung NX of APS-C size imager. Potentially more noise at high ISO sensitivities for the GH2 could result in an increase in the megapixel.
Pixels and specifications do not the story, real images and controlled test results will tell. Read please hold our full review and see rates such as the Panasonic GH2.
