Microsoft will begin testing some of the web based Office applications that will be launched through Office Live Workspace later this year. Currently Office Live Workspace is an additional facility of Microsoft Office where this web application will be a serious rival for Google Docs.

Microsoft will begin beta tests for the public from a web application called the “Office Web applications” in the year in which this application will provide facilities for users to create and edit documents online with just a web browser.

Previously Microsoft had run the Office Live Workspace that allows users to view and share documents online, but unfortunately users should use Office on their computers to create the document. You can visit: http://workspace.officelive.com make it more clear.

This is certainly different from Google Docs and Zoho which allows the manufacture, storage and editing of documents using only a web browser only.

It plans for the new version of Office Web applications from Microsoft This user does not need to have a license office clients to create documents and applications can be accessed and used free of charge for consumers because it will be supported by advertising.

The good news again, this application does not require the Internet Explorer browser to access and use, and the plan of this application can also be run on the iPhone.
