Which Is For: Apple MacBook Air MC234LL / A 13.3-inch laptop
First, make sure the battery operates properly. I just came back from a bad battery – he told me that no battery is present and that the system fails. But I have to play with one that worked correctly.

I’m just happy the SSD (expensive) version. If you get this MacBook Air, I fully feel that you are wasting your money by buying the basic version. The lower disk is horribly slow and low-power version of the feeling that the MacBook Pro SSD beats faster with a hard drive. To further illustrate, the Macbook Air SSD opens Adobe Photoshop 3 seconds. Join two seconds or less.
Here are the benefits :
- Super light … It’s addictive, delicious. You carry around, so boring.
- Good battery life. I think the battery life in real world circumstances, even turn to 7 hours of battery on the MacBook Pro. Seems to use less battery and intelligent
- AC converter is also required to make (but I think it should be lighter)
- Sturdy, comfortable and able to take a hand
Disadvantages :
- Do not use for multimedia, other than a regular video, YouTube, etc. If you try to play HD videos on this machine loses executives
- Speakers! Sorry, the speaker. Do not use this machine for presentations by the sound. difficult to hear in a noisy environment (such as subsidies). I think it really be the worst!
- The USB port is difficult to reach, difficult for those USB Verizon and Sprint / AT & T mobile broadband sticks. You must use a cable. But I think this is a minor cosmetic problem
Issues non-issue :
- Lack of DVD player. Other than installing software or watch DVDs you want someone to do then and there, how often do you really need to do this? If the answer is often, this machine is definitely not for you (go with a Macbook Pro). As occasional or rare that the DVD drive of a network (using Bonjour) works really well. If you need a portable hard drive, then do not get this machine. It is not for this, really.
So which is it?
- Writers! Writers, students, writers, writers, period. This is the best tool to use if you are a writer, period. You’ll love the opportunity to take it everywhere, in a small light bag, just open and start writing, either in Word, Pages, Final Draft, etc. (I highly recommend using a service like Dropbox – [...] – so that what you write is automatically synchronized over the air to your computer automatically! – no need to worry about losing your job ever!).
- Business travelers who need to show pictures, electronic brochures, etc. Even walking around the shop and plop MacBook Air from a bag, hold your hand when you walk
- Road Warriors Road photographers, journalists, etc.
